Reschedules cost the club additional money and should be limited to two a season and only for the following valid excuses:

1. Team conflict - can't field an entire team on that day (eg. half the team is on vacation for Spring Break)
2. Playing a tournament
3. Weather - ONLY if TUSC cancels the games due to dangerous weather...we may play in rain and cold!!

Note:  Rescheduling because your "star player" is not available that day or because the coach will be gone or because you have an early game on a cold morning is not considered a valid excuse.  Please have an Assistant Coach prepared and let your team depend on the original schedule so they can plan the rest of their family time.

Games may be rescheduled only if both coaches agree to change the originally scheduled game.

So, here are the three steps:

1.  Call the other coach and reach an agreement for rescheduling your game within 10 days of the originally scheduled game.  You may find the coaches phone number from the Got Soccer system (www.gotsport.com using your team account and login) or call the TUSC office during office hours and Tim will get it for you.

2.  Home coach must properly cancel originally scheduled game according to the procedures and request a new play date.  To cancel the originally scheduled game, the Home coach must email (click here to email Robin ) or call the rescheduling number (Robin at 694-4160) a request to change. This must be CONFIRMED by Wednesday (6:00 PM) before a Saturday or Sunday game otherwise you forfeit your referees and will have to pay for referees out of your own pocket when you make up the game. Coaches are not to call the referee scheduler or simply leave a message on the TUSC office voice mail...that doesn't count.

3.  Once approved by the scheduler (Robin), home coach must call the visiting coach with the confirmation.  The TUSC scheduler will secure the field and referees for your new game time.

Rescheduled games must be played within 10 days of the original game date.

Please be mindful of daylight hours and daylight savings time does when planning your rescheduled game. This may limit makeup games during the week. Also all our fields are being used every Saturday and Sunday for regular games so it won’t be easy to get a field. Please think long and hard before you decide to change a game.

[If your game is cancelled because of weather, call the other coach and make arrangements as soon as possible to make up the game. Then call the office to make arrangements for a field and referees.]

NEW GREEN COUNTRY RULING: Any game scheduled such that the visiting team must leave their home area before 7:00 AM can be rescheduled if done so at least 7 days prior to the scheduled game date.
