About Tulsa United Soccer Club:
  • nThe mission of TUSC is to provide a joyful soccer experience for children of all ages and backgrounds by creating an environment that promotes sportsmanship, and teamwork while teaching proficiency in soccer skills.
  • nTUSC was formed in 1980 and has grown to 1000 children, ages 5 to 19.  TUSC draws children according to the boundaries imposed by Green Country Soccer Association, in which we are a member club.
  • nTUSC is a volunteer organization.  It is governed by a board of directors that consist of 18 members.  Coaches are also volunteers; mostly parents of players that receive their initial training from TUSC.
  • nTUSC adheres to the governance of Green Country Soccer Association along with corresponding rules created by the Oklahoma Soccer Association and US Youth Soccer.
  • nThe TUSC complex consists of nearly 20 acres located at highway 169 between 31st and 41st in the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The complex is irrigated for plush and safe playing conditions.  The acreage is held through a lease with the City of Tulsa.
  • nTUSC has kept fees low relative to other clubs across the state.  This is done by using volunteers.  Season fees at TUSC are only $62 compared to $75 for ESC in Edmond, Oklahoma.  Furthermore, TUSC offers multiple child discounts.
  • nMany scholarships are provided each season based on financial need.
  • nThe Colby memorial fund provides a scholarship to a college bound student who grew up playing TUSC soccer.  The award goes to the winner of an essay competition where high school seniors describe their TUSC experience.
  • nTUSC operates in concert with our sister club, Blitz United, to offer a higher level of competition for those players that seek it.  Together, the two clubs can provide all avenues for soccer development, toward college entry.
  • nTUSC employs strict risk management to ensure safe play for all children.  This includes background checks on all volunteers and regular field and equipment inspections.
